Body of young woman found naked in forested railway quarters in Kollam

Kollam: The dead body of a woman was found in the uninhabited railway quarters. A 32-year-old woman from Kotankara was found dead. The body was completely naked. The body, believed to be six days old, was found in the forested railway quarters near Fatima Mata National College. There are two deep cuts on the left side of the head and below the breast.

The woman, who was selling cosmetics at homes, had been missing since the 29th of last month. The body was found while investigating the complaint filed by the mother at Kundara police station. It is said that the young woman was seen on the beach on the evening of 29th. After that, no information was received about them.

On Tuesday night, two youths who came through this place informed the East Police after smelling the smell. The body was found when the police arrived and conducted an investigation. Then on Wednesday morning, more police, dogsquad and forensic experts came and conducted the inspection. The woman’s bag and underwear were found near the dead body.

The well near the building was inspected by the scuba team, but nothing suspicious was found. Based on the preliminary conclusion that it was a murder, the East Police started an investigation.
