Stanislas Guerini, Minister of Transition and Civil Service, announced this Saturday March 9 the establishment of bonuses “for all agents who will be on the ground” during the Olympic Games.

These measures are in addition to the additional 1,900 euros promised by Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior, to law enforcement agents mobilized this summer around the Olympic sites.

Several calls for strikes already launched

The announcement by the Minister of the Civil Service comes two days after calls for a strike launched by the CGT and FO. “The whole country hopes that there will be no strike during the Olympic Games, said the minister. It has to be a moment of success for the nation.”
