Do you like books and islands? Then this is sure to be a job you will love. A luxury resort on the island of Kunfunadhoo in the Maldives is looking for a new person to sell books. The person will be hired on a one-year contract. Salary is Rs 59,000.
Soneva Fushi Resort invites applications for the position of its Bookseller. The person will be appointed for one year. Alex McQueen, Sales Manager at Ultimate Library, is looking for a book lover who loves adventure, creativity and doesn’t mind walking around barefoot all day.

Also the new appointee has to run a book shop daily and look after accounting and stock management. McQueen said the applicant would always have to be there and take care of all these things himself.
Those who get jobs will get free food and accommodation. Posting about the job on Instagram, The Barefoot Booksellers wrote: “Looking for our next Barefoot Bookseller for Soneva Fushi in association with Soneva! This would be a dream job for a book lover and this bookselling should be in one of the most beautiful places in the world.”
She added that the lucky person will fly to the Maldives in early October for a twelve-month placement to join the Soneva Fushi team.
