Construction of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) until 2032 will cost 609 billion rubles. This cost was mentioned by the general director of the Roscosmos state corporation, Yuri Borisov, in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
“A few numbers: until 2032, we have estimated this work at about 609 billion rubles. The first three years – 2024-2026 – will require about 150 billion rubles…,” the head noted.
According to him, most of the funds will be spent on the development of ground-based space infrastructure, in particular, on the preparation of the Vostochny cosmodrome.
In September, TASS, citing the draft state budget for 2024-2026, reported that the federal program “Russian Space Activities” envisages expenditures of over 800 billion rubles.
