Demonstrations echoed across the nation, fueled by outrage and sorrow over the incident and broader concerns about escalating immigration enforcement tactics.

Outcry Over Minneapolis Shooting Sparks Nationwide Demonstrations

The evening demonstration on Boston Common was one of many held across the country to express grief and demand accountability following Good’s death. Protesters specifically railed against what they described as the Trump management’s intensified immigration crackdown, arguing that federal government actions are both unlawful and detrimental to the safety of american cities.

Boston Mayor Condemns ICE Actions

Earlier on Thursday, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu issued a strong condemnation of the shooting, characterizing it as a direct consequence of the former administration’s policies. “This is not making cities safer, and we will join the Minneapolis mayor and others all around the country in calling for an end to mass deployment of ICE agents that are making peaceful American cities less safe than we were before,” she told reporters.
