The Council of Ministers heard an oral communication relating to the commemoration of the 36th anniversary of the assassination of Captain Thomas SANKARA. According to the government spokesperson, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel OUEDRAOGO, this commemoration placed under the very high patronage of the President of the Transition will be marked by strong acts in homage to the father of the Revolution.

In addition to the laying of wreaths, there will be an official elevation ceremony of President Thomas SANKARA to the rank of Hero of the Nation. “In addition, there will be the laying of the first stone which will mark the start of work on the Thomas SANKARA mausoleum,” maintained the Government Spokesperson.

The commemoration of the 36th anniversary of the assassination of Captain Thomas SANKARA will also be marked by the renaming of Boulevard Charles de Gaulle, which will be called “Boulevard Thomas SANKARA” from October 15, 2023.

On behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Council examined and adopted three decrees implementing the law on real estate development. The first decree concerns the conditions which govern the social housing cooperative. According to the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Mikaïlou SIDIBE, it is provided within the framework of the law on real estate development that citizens who meet the eligibility conditions for social housing can group together into housing cooperatives. social to benefit from State support through the provision of land which will be used for the construction of housing for the benefit of members.

The second decree concerns the conditions and terms of provisional and definitive transfer and long-term lease of urban land intended for real estate development. “In this context, it is planned that the real estate developer who wishes to build housing can benefit, initially, from a transfer through a provisional transfer order to allow him to deepen his project and especially to carry out the lifting of funds for the implementation of its project,” explained Minister Mikaïlou SIDIBE. The third implementing decree of the law on real estate development concerns the conditions, modalities and scales of transactions at the level of offenses in real estate development.

“The adoption of these three decrees allows us to move forward in the effective implementation of the law on real estate development and will allow the various actors who wish to intervene in this area to be able to accelerate the implementation of projects for the benefit of the population.
