Information from a number of media outlets suggests that members of Britney Spears’ team have been reaching out to various lyricists and composers for her tenth album for some time. However, the singer has now personally commented on the matter via Instagram, and her version is completely different.
“Just to be clear, most of the news is complete bullshit! They keep saying I’m going around people for the new album… I’m never coming back to the music business!” she wrote resolutely.
She then went on to make the surprising claim that she was, on the contrary, secretly writing for others. “When I write, I write for joy, for others! For those of you who have read my book – there’s still a lot you don’t know about me.” she expressed herself.
“In the last two years, I have written over 20 songs for other people. I’m a ghostwriter, and honestly, that’s how I like it.” the author of many hits unexpectedly revealed. The names of the artists she wrote songs for but did not disclose. Shortly after the statement, she withdrew from the networks and deleted her Instagram profile again.
