“The Boss” made a comeback after the stomach ulcer and the death of his mother.

Springsteen disappointed many fans this autumn when he had to postpone all his concerts last autumn after it became known that he had contracted a stomach ulcer.

On Tuesday, the 74-year-old was back on stage, and in terms of music there was little to indicate that the boss has been set back by the stomach ulcer. In addition, the star lost his mother in February.

He delivered an almost three-hour long concert, including seven encores.

However, Springsteen’s appearance has changed a bit since a year ago, not at all strange for a 74-year-old man who has received medical treatment.

The hairpiece is the same, but instead of a silver gray version as in 2023, Springsteen’s hair had turned white in 2024. Springsteen also looks perhaps a little less muscular than he did last year.

Some users on social media are reacting to the “transformation”, and several say he looks like Hollywood star Tilda Swinton, while others think he looks like Ellen DeGeneres.

Like so many other artists or actors of his age, it is speculated whether The Boss has undergone plastic surgery.

The most important thing for the fans is regardless of whether the man delivers as before, and there is little indication that The Boss has become any worse: Music newspaper Mojo describes the concert as “flawless”, while the local newspaper Arizona Republic writes that he delivered a “joyful” concert.

The reviewer writes that in advance he feared having to excuse Springsteen’s age and health, but there was no reason for that as it turned out.
