Clara Brugada committed to creating the Pantaco-AIFA railway corridor and positioning the Vallejo area as a new economic hub.

“Mexico City must continue to be an economic engine of the country, a lever for the growth and development of the national economy,” said the Morenista, after which she said that the entity has a high rating in construction maintenance, infrastructure and connectivity with airports such as AIFA, which will benefit both Mexico City and the State of Mexico.

In this sense, he stressed that the idea is to “invigorate commerce in a metropolitan way and place the city as the most important innovation center in the country”, for which he proposed creating the Pantaco-AIFA corridor due to its strategic location and concentration of companies.

Brugada He pointed out that his great commitment will be to boost the local economy and make Vallejo take on great relevance, which is why he called for taking advantage of the conditions of the area, highlighting that Azcapotzalco is the town with the highest manufacturing production in the metropolitan area with the generation of 125 billion pesos, equivalent to almost 5% of the city’s gross domestic product and 1% of the national one.

In addition, the leader of Morena, PT and PVEM indicated that the area has the conditions to make Azcapotzalco one of the most attractive polygons for nearshoring, and announced that she will prioritize technology and create a large software factory, as well as promote the electronic commerce among small and medium-sized companies in the capital with the aim of strengthening competitiveness.
