According to local reports, the altercation occurred on April 15, in a body of water located near the Trailer Park, Playa Linda de Ixtapa, Guerrero.
Media indicate that the minor was swimming in the lagoon just when he was surprised by the crocodile that instantly pounced on him and bit his head.
Moments later, his parents jumped into the lagoon to rescue the child and ended up also injured by the animal.
After managing to remove their son from the lagoon and moving away from the crocodile, the family had to be helped by Civil Protection elements from the state of Guerrero.
The family was examined by doctors, who confirmed that the minor had been bitten on his head and both arms; His mother had an abdominal wound and wound to her wrist and her father had a wound to his left calf.
