by time news

This is the kind of news that we would do well … This Friday, the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, current 7th in the Bundesliga (the German D1), announced on its twitter account that one of its players, Hubert Mbuyi -Muamba (19) has leukemia. The club specifies that the 19-year-old central defender has left for treatment in France and also wishes him “a lot of strength”.

The native of Montfermeil, whose contract as an aspirant at PSG ended at the end of the 2020-2021 season, had finally crossed the Franco-German border to join the Baden-Württemberg club. After having started in Lagny-sur-Marne (Seine-et-Marne) in U10, Hubert Mbuyi-Muamba wore the colors of US Torcy (like a certain Paul Pogba, among others) in the Young Nationals for five years before to take the direction of Paris-Saint-Germain.

Captain of the Parisian U17s in 2019-2020, he decided to go to Germany, although the capital club offered him to sign his first professional contract. The former Torcean defender played with the reserve in the German 4th division. In Hoffenheim evolves another former Parisian, Stanley Nsoki (23 years old).
