The executive approved the proposal to sign the agreement “On the mutual recognition of bank guarantees during the implementation of state (municipal) purchases”.
The agreement stipulates that bank guarantees provided by commercial banks operating in the territories of EAEU member-states are recognized by the member-states during the implementation of state (municipal) purchases. At the same time, the agreement also stipulates that a register of commercial banks should be created, which will include those banks that meet the conditions set by the agreement.
The purpose of signing the agreement is to provide unimpeded access to participation in state (municipal) procurement held in another member state for potential suppliers (contractors, executors) registered in the territory of one member state.
In particular, business entities registered in RA can submit bank guarantees provided by commercial banks of RA to purchase processes organized in RF.
