No date change for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) Côte d’Ivoire 2023. The Confederation of African Football has confirmed the dates of the opening and closing matches of this edition scheduled for Côte d’Ivoire in 2024 .

The opening match of the competition of the 34e edition will take place on January 13, 2024 at the Stade Alassane Ouattara d’Ebimpe in Abidjan. The final is scheduled for February 11, 2024. This time again, the tournament will bring together 24 teams, seven of which have already qualified.
These are Algeria, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Morocco and South Africa, Senegal, champion of Africa and Côte d’Ivoire host country. 17 places therefore remain to be conquered.
Two more days for the end of the playoffs
CAF announces unprecedented interest from global media rights licensees for this competition which will be held for the first time in Côte d’Ivoire.
CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba has also confirmed that the official draw for the Côte d’Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will take place next September.
The date and place will be confirmed later. There are still two days left for the end of the playoffs.
