“It’s a troubled edition because of the stop and go to which we are obliged by the pandemic, which has once again postponed the appointment – declares Michele Bonuomo, director of the magazine «Arte» – but the selected are twenty talents. It is now a historic award, desired and supported with passion and generosity by Urbano Cairo. It is a recognition that, year after year, has rigorously investigated the contemporary art scenario, offering the artists who participated in it an important critical showcase and media visibility ». The twenty protagonists have created an unpublished work that best represents their research. On the new date of October 2022 these works will be on display at the Palazzo Reale in Milan.

This edition will have zero impact, thanks to the LifeGate project (partner of the award for the first time) active in the reduction and offsetting of CO2 emissions generated through reforestation and protection of parks and nature reserves.
