EDMONTON, AB, July 18, 2025 – Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team has finalized its match-day roster for its final home game against Spain on Friday, July 18. Head Coach Stephen Meehan announced the squad, which features key players like Evan Olmstead returning to the lineup for the first time since the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Canada and Spain are set to kick off at 7:00 p.m. MT / 9:00 p.m. ET, with the match broadcast live on TSN2 and TSN+.

“The team’s focus this week has been about how we balance our style of play,” Meehan stated. “We had moments last Saturday that were effective and exciting to watch and play, and other moments that learning from will improve our performance. Spain is another tough opponent, but we are all excited to get back on the field with another home crowd to support us.”

Newcomers Emerson Prior and Stephen Webb are positioned on the bench and could earn their first international caps against Spain.

Andrew Quattrin, Josiah Morra, and Siôn Parry, who all scored tries in Canada’s previous match against Belgium, have retained their spots in the 23-player squad. Cooper Coats will start at flyhalf for the second consecutive game.

Tickets for the match are available for purchase.
