On Tuesday evening, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in white and red, and from Monday throughout May, Ontario is celebrating Polish Heritage Month.

Niagara will be illuminated in white and red on the Day of the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad, and at the same time – on the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland, as well as on the occasion of the Polish Heritage Month starting in the province of Ontario – informed PAP the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, on whose initiative you can see Polish colors Niagara Illumination.

Who can’t go to Niagara in person at 22 on Tuesday (4:00 a.m. Wednesday Polish time), can use the link to view the falls from the Canadian website: https://www.earthcam.com/canada/niagarafalls/?cam=niagarafalls_str

Since last year May is Polish Heritage Month in Ontario, Canada’s largest province, on the basis of a law passed by the Ontario Parliament.

Next week (on Sunday) in Toronto, for the second time, the Canadian Polish Congress is organizing a parade on the occasion of the 232nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of May 3rd. The Polish flag will be hoisted on the mast in front of the Toronto City Hall, and the procession will march through the streets of downtown.

Across Canada, over 1 million residents are of Polish descent, and more than half of them live in Ontario.
