The crisis erupted as locals took to the streets in protest of truck drivers’ protests in Canada.
Truck drivers have been fighting for the 17th day in protest of the mandatory vaccination. They also missed the Ambassador Bridge, the main trade route to the United States, on the 6th. Bored by the series of protests by lorry drivers, the locals descended on the battlefield against them. To prevent a confrontation between the two sides, the country’s police set up barricades.
