Dieter Bohlen (69) has every reason to celebrate, but not just because of his 70th birthday next Wednesday. As the pop titan now reveals in an interview, he and his girlfriend Carina Walz (39) are planning to go to the altar.
Secret wedding with Carina
“Carina and I are getting married,” Bohlen drops the bombshell in an interview with “Bild”. And adds that the date has been set “since the first day of our relationship.” Back then, he told his Carina a specific year and “if we’re still together, I’ll trust you and marry you.” Bohlen does not reveal exactly when the time will come, and the invitations have “not yet been printed”. But the supposed date would already be getting closer. Carina only has one condition left: “You have to make me a real proposal again so that I can marry you.”

They met in a club
Dieter Bohlen and Carina Walz met 18 years ago in a club on Mallorca. Back then, Bohlen did not expect that they would “become such a happy couple.” But despite the 30-year age difference, the then 21-year-old already seemed “much more mature than others her age” to the pop titan. The couple has two children together: a twelve-year-old daughter and a ten-year-old son.
For Bohlen, it would be the third marriage, which would then have to “last until the end of his life,” according to the “Modern Talking” star. But “I’m absolutely sure about Carina. For me, the world would collapse if we weren’t together anymore. I’m completely honest. It’s just nice with us.” And his concert organizer also came up with something for his 70th birthday this year: “We’re doing a birthday concert, then a bit of a party, and everyone is happy.” Because normally every birthday is “horrible” for the pop titan when he spends “on the phone all day.”
