Carol er «Caught by a storm wind» in Trondheim.

At the same time as the wind rages in Trondheim, the Swedish Eurovision legend Carola appeared on stage during the evening’s MGP final. Here she performed, among other things, the hit song “Fångad av en stormvind”, with which she won the Eurovision final in 1991.
VG met Carola in Trondheim earlier Friday:
– It is incredibly nice to be here and sing my songs and meet the audience with what I have done and delivered for so many years, Carola said then.
Carola has also participated in the competition twice more, then with a third place and a fifth place.
The Swedish artist has shared an Instagram story of sweet pastries at the Britannia hotel in Trondheim. She has also posted an Instagram story with former MGP winner TIX.
Dagbladet reported on the artist’s presence in Trondheim first.
– We have done our best to hide Carola from everyone. We had even placed Carola in a different hotel from the crew and artists, to avoid suspicion. But we have to admit that there are now starting to be a little too many clues that point her in the direction of the MGP final, says project manager for MGP, Mads Tørklep to VG.
– Without revealing in detail what Carola will do, I can reveal that she may appear on the screen tonight. And I can say that it will be a moment worth capturing.
