Texas: French player Caroline Garcia won the WTA Finals title by defeating Belarus’ Ariana Sabalenka in the final. In the final of the last tournament of the season, Caroline defeated Ariana with a score of 7-6(7/4), 6-4. Caroline is the first French woman to win the WTA Finals title since Amelie Maurismo in 2005. Caroline won the first set through a tiebreaker after a close fight. Sabalenka could not come back in the second set.
