Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at today’s government session that the post-payment system is developing successfully in case of non-cash trade of pensioners and beneficiaries.

“A turnover of 524 million drams was recorded in July, 846 million drams in August, 1 billion 412 million drams in September, 1 billion 838 million drams in October, 2 billion 231 million drams in November, and 2 billion 742 million drams in December,” he said.

According to the Prime Minister, 800 million drams have been returned to citizens since July.

“It turns out that for 67 thousand people, we increased the pension by 3,000 drams, plus 3,400 drams, that is, 6,400 drams. This is a mechanism, the effectiveness of which we see today”, the Prime Minister mentioned.

Pashinyan announced that the circulation of cash should be excluded in all state institutions.

“There should not be a state institution where it is normal to see drams, banknotes should not be seen in any state institution,” said the Prime Minister.
