News from Angola – The Angolan artist Cassilva , entertained this Friday night, in Luanda, the audience present at the Talk on Percussion and Performance promoted by Isenta Comunicação.

For an hour and a half, the artist performed 16 themes, 5 of which were her own and 11 by national and international artists such as Maria Gadu, Tom Jobin, Matias Damásio, Edzila, Bruna Tatiana, Dino Ferraz and Selda.

In front of almost 50 spectators, Cassilva sang, among others, the songs “O choro das plantas, Menina, Brisa, Enfermos de amor e Paz”, all of her own compositions, not forgetting themes by renowned artists such as “Dona Cila and Ximbalaié , Weve, Math of love, Pride, Morena from here is that street”, among others.

Born in Luanda, Odeth Cassilva is an artist, songwriter, percussionist and singer of contemporary traditional music.

It presents a performance playing different percussion instruments and singing, accompanied by his band, composed of two guitarists, a bassist and a drummer.

She is currently the events coordinator for the Palácio de Ferro in Luanda.
