The film is produced by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop and CV Sarathy under the banner of E-For Entertainment and AVA Productions. The battle is based on an actual incident that took place in Kerala 25 years ago and received a lot of media attention. It is also the story of the political resistance created by the Adivasi Land Act amended by the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1996.
Apart from Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan, Joju George and Dileesh Pothen, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Indrans, Salimkumar, Jagadish, TG Ravi, Unnimaya Prasad, Savitri Sreedharan, VK Sriraman, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Kani Kottayam Ramesh, Sudheer Karamana, Sajitha Mathil and many other actors are playing the lead roles in the film.
