jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo published the results of scientific research on the four pillars of nationality in the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) National Resilience Journal.

Scientific research entitled ‘Four Pillars of Nationality Strategy for the Development of the Young Generation in Facing the Demographic Bonus and Its Implications for the Social Resilience of the Riau Islands’ was published in the UGM National Resilience Journal Vol 30 of 2024.

“Research was carried out to find out how to implement the four national pillars strategy for developing the younger generation in facing the demographic bonus and its implications for the social resilience of the Riau Islands,” said Bamsoet, who is familiarly called, in his statement, Thursday (25/4).

Bamsoet further stated that the demographic bonus is a golden opportunity for the Indonesian nation.

However, social problems that exist due to limited labor are a threat to this opportunity.

Through the reconstruction of the four pillars of nationality, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, strengthening the younger generation is carried out as a preventive effort and understanding society.

Bamsoet said that currently the Indonesian nation has entered the demographic bonus phase, where the demographic composition is dominated by the productive age population, the majority of whom are the younger generation.
