The film ‘Chance’ directed by newcomer Sreeraj M. Rajendran has started at Edappally Anchu Mana Devi Temple. He holds a PG Diploma in Directing and Screenwriting from the Pune Film Institute and has directed several short films. The film is being produced by Rajesh Raj, Nufais Rahman and Haridas under the banner of Captain Movie Makers & Nabiha Movie Productions.

Producer Rajesh Raj’s mother Omana S Nair lit the first Bhadradeepam and the pooja started. Renowned director Vinayan, AM Arif MP, Chalachithra Academy Secretary C Ajoy, Rudra P Sukumar, director’s mother Jyothi and father Rajendran completed the function.

Then AM Arif MP. Switchon gave the action and Vinayan gave the first clap. Nufais Rahman handed over the script to the director. The film presents three stories that take place in a day in the city of Kochi, bringing them to a central point. The story unfolds by focusing on the lives of three young men who are trying to regain their lives.

The film stars Amit Chakkalakal, Rudra, Guru Somasundaram, Arjun Gopal, Sabumon (Tarikida Sabu) and Shyam Mohan in the lead roles. The heroine is Anarkali Maraikkara.
Sudheer Karamana, Alansier, Harish Kanaran, Sonia, Kichhu Tellus, Chembil Ashokan,
Vineeth Thattil David, Rajagopal Aranmula and Nasser Tirur are also in the lead roles.
