China launches fourteen satellites into orbit

China’s Long March 2D launch vehicle has launched 14 satellites into orbit for various purposes. This was announced on Sunday by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

The launch vehicle took place at 11:14 Beijing time (06:14 Moscow time) from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome.

The Corporation announced the launch of two Earth remote sensing satellites using radar aperture synthesis technology into orbit.

In addition, several satellites equipped with instruments for surveying the Earth’s surface in high resolution, as well as other Chinese-designed satellites designed for various purposes, have been launched.
