A video released by CCTV shows the Tianwen-1, a Chinese space probe, entering the orbit of Mars. According to local media, the facility launched into space in July 2020 has finally begun to circle the “red planet”. It is the latest step in Beijing’s ambitious space program, which aims to establish a manned space station by 2022, competing openly with NASA’s US program.
