BEIJING: Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai has spoken to the head of the International Olympic Committee in a video, the Olympic team said.
Athlete Peng spoke with Olympic team leader Thomas Bagh over a nearly 30-minute video call.
According to a statement from the Olympic Committee, Peng said at the time that his home in Beijing was safe and sound.

Speaking about the game, the World Tennis Association said, “This is not enough for us. There is no change in the need for a fair and transparent investigation into Peng’s allegations of sexual harassment. ”
