Chris Cuomo: New SiriusXM Show & Return to Radio

Chris Cuomo to Launch New SiriusXM Morning Show, ‘Cuomo Mornings’

A new chapter begins for veteran broadcaster Chris Cuomo as he prepares to host a weekday morning show on SiriusXM’s POTUS Channel 124, aiming to foster more substantive political discourse.

Cuomo’s new program, titled Cuomo Mornings, is slated to premiere on January 20 and will air from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The show’s launch lineup promises a diverse range of guests, including political strategist James Carville, sports commentator Bob Costas, entrepreneur Mark Cuban, former U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

This return to SiriusXM marks a continuation of Cuomo’s radio career, having previously hosted Let’s Get After It before his departure from CNN in 2021. Currently, Cuomo anchors the primetime show Cuomo on NewsNation, a position he’s held since 2022, and recently signed a multi-year deal with the network in 2024.

Cuomo articulated his vision for the new show, stating, “too much of our politics is about teams instead of truth. ‘Cuomo Mornings’ is going to be about breaking through those barriers, asking better questions, and bringing people into the conversation instead of talking past them.” This statement underscores a commitment to a more nuanced and fact-based approach to political analysis.

Before his tenure at NewsNation, Cuomo’s career included prominent roles at several major networks. He previously served as the host of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time and co-anchored the network’s morning program, New Day. Earlier in his career, he held positions as chief law and justice correspondent and anchor for ABC News, and as a correspondent and political analyst for Fox News, demonstrating a broad and extensive background in journalism.
