‘Christy’ is directed by debutant Alvin Henty with Malavika Mohanan and Matthew Thomas in the lead roles. The first look poster of the film was released earlier. For the director’s story, Benjamin and G.R. The screenplay is written by Indu Gopan.
Now the comment shared by someone under the new poster of the film and Malavika’s reply to it is getting attention. “My tension is how Matthew will handle this,” he wrote.
Malvika responded to the comment saying, ‘He handled it well’. He later commented that after seeing the poster, it looked like a love story between a young man and an older woman, so he questioned it.
Produced by Sajay Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner ‘Rocky Mountain Cinemas’, Christy is a romantic feel-good film. The film is based on true events, with Maldives and Poovar in Thiruvananthapuram as the main locations.
Cinematography by Anand C Chandran has been handled by Manu Antony. Music composed by Govind Vasantha with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and Anwar Ali.
