Significant snowfall accumulations are expected:
- Ulleungdo and Dokdo: Up to 30 cm
- Jeju Mountains: Up to 15 cm
- West Coast of Honam: Over 10 cm
- West Coast of Chungcheongnam-do: 1 to 5 cm
While the snow is expected to subside the day after tomorrow, the cold wave will intensify, reaching its peak nationwide the following morning. Seoul will experience a morning temperature of -12 degrees Celsius, with a staggering perceived temperature of -19 degrees Celsius. The bitter cold will persist throughout the day, with a feeling temperature of -9 degrees Celsius even at midday.

The frigid weather is expected to continue through the weekend morning before gradually easing as daytime temperatures climb back above freezing.
