by time news

Citroen launched its first electric car model in the Indian market last week. The bookings for the new Citroen eC3 electric car are currently open. The booking fee for Citroen’s first electric car in India is Rs. 25 thousand has been fixed.

Customers can book the new Citroen electric car at Citroen dealerships and Citroen’s official website. While the Citroen C3 IC-powered model was launched last year, its electric version was launched six months later.

Visually, the Citroen eC3 Electric and its IC engine version look identical. On both the cars, the Chevron logo is mounted on the front grille. Like other electric car models, the eC3 model doesn’t get a completely new front than the closed grille or the petrol model.

The only difference between the two cars is the exterior of the car including the eC3 badges on the fenders and tailgate. The charging port is mounted on the front right fender of this car. The Citroen C3 model was developed by Citroen with the intention of developing an electric version in the future.

Due to this, the Citroen C3 model was given a long wheelbase. Like the exterior, the interior of the car also looks the same. However, the electric version has manual day/night IRVMs. The ORVMs in it are not electrically adjustable. The AC is also offered as a manual unit.

The car has a monochrome instrument cluster. Its top-end models offer a 10-inch touchscreen. The Citroen eC3 model is available in two variants – Live and Feel. The touch screen, 4-speaker audio system, and the ability to adjust the passenger seat are offered only in the Feel variant.

Along with this, the connected car features are offered through the Mysitroen Connect app. The Citroen eC3 model is offered with a 29.2 kWh battery pack. This electric car is capable of producing 57 HP of power and 143 Nm of torque. This car can reach a speed of 107 km per hour. And it gives a range of 320 kilometers on a full charge.
