Clara Brugada presents economic plan for Mexico City to the Association of Banks of Mexico

The candidate for Head of Government for the “Let’s Keep Making History” coalition, Clara Brugada Molinahas presented to the Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) its 10 key proposals to promote the economic development of Mexico City.

In a meeting with members of the ABM, Brugada Molina highlighted the importance of continuing to build a city that encourages investment, generates formal employment and promotes shared prosperity.

Your project includes the diversification of the engines of economic growthwith a focus on financial services, electromobility, creative and digital industries, among other sectors.

One of Brugada’s main proposals is the promotion of new technologies to facilitate financial inclusion, especially among women and youth.

Likewise, it pledged to guarantee legal certainty for investment, reinforce security and combat extortion, while supporting micro, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as innovative entrepreneurs.

The candidate also announced the implementation of a metropolitan economic plan in collaboration with the federal government and the State of Mexico, with the aim of taking advantage of opportunities for nearshoring.

In addition, he proposed the creation of an agency to attract investments and strengthen the Economic, Social and Environmental Council of Mexico City.

During his speech, Brugada urged the ABM to finance productive, business projects and innovation initiatives, in order to build a more prosperous and integral city.

He stressed his commitment to working for a Mexico City with middle classes, combating inequalities and promoting job creation.

Under the motto “Chilango Moment”, Brugada highlighted the good economic moment that the capital is experiencing, thanks to the strengthening of security, confidence in investment and the responsible management of public finances.

Likewise, it reaffirmed its support for legal and transparent real estate construction, promoting balanced and sustainable development.

The meeting was attended by the president of the ABM, Julio Carranza, as well as the coordinator and secretary of its Advisory Council, Alejandro Encinas and Pablo YƔƱez, respectively.
