“I’m single and for now I’m fine, but I know I’m a couple”. A few weeks ago Claudia Gerini confessed in a long interview with the weekly Oggi, in which she also touched on her love life. At just 50 years old (she celebrates her birthday today, 18 December) she is ready to start again, after leaving behind her love affair with the entrepreneur Simon Clementi, with whom she had been a steady couple since 2019. It all started in Cortina, a convict, was an aperitif: «I was immediately struck by his sweetness, his perfectly dressing the role of father – Gerini told the weekly Di Più last year -. He also won me over because he never cared about the work I did. I mean, yes, he esteems me, but he just likes Claudia. And so, one fine day, during an appointment, we found ourselves in each other’s arms ». The relationship has long remained out of the spotlight (the couple only made their first public outing in July 2020). Great reserve also maintained on the occasion of the breakup, confirmed by the Roman actress on Instagram last summer: “Simon and I have decided not to be a couple anymore, remaining friends”.
