A festive evening of entertainment,prizes,and community spirit unfolded on Tuesday,December 9th,as Cloch Housing Association hosted its annual Christmas Celebration at Greenock Town Hall. The event, designed to foster connection among tenants and their families, featured a range of activities and generous donations from local businesses.
A Night of Festive cheer
Greenock Town Hall was transformed into a winter wonderland for the occasion. Guests were greeted by the unusual sight of two real reindeer upon arrival, immediately setting a tone of enchantment. Inside, sparkling decorations and lively music provided by Generation Events created a vibrant atmosphere.
Families enjoyed a variety of interactive experiences, including a dedicated balloon tent for photo opportunities, professional face painting, and intricate balloon art. The event also featured a craft corner led by RIG Arts, where attendees could create their own personalized christmas decorations.
Entertainment and Community Spirit
The entertainment lineup was diverse and engaging. Billy Reid, a finalist in the Close-Up magician of the Year competition, captivated the audience with his skillful illusions. A playful appearance by the grinch added a touch of mischievous fun, while Santa’s Grotto proved to be a major highlight for children. Throughout the evening, attendees were treated to a plentiful supply of food, snacks, and drinks.
“The event was fantastic from start to finish,and it was wonderful to catch up with our tenants and their families,” stated a senior official from Cloch Housing Association. “A huge thank you to our contractors and suppliers who donated toys and gifts for the raffle-prizes included a 50-inch TV, a Nintendo console with games, and tablet devices. I’m immensely proud of our staff team for organising such a memorable celebration.”
