Coimbatore car cylinder explosion incident… Annamalai praises Chief Minister Stalin’s action

Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai has posted on Twitter to welcome Chief Minister M. K. Stalin’s move to transfer the case of cylinder blast in a car in Coimbatore to NIA.

A case has been registered under the UPA Act against 5 people arrested in connection with the Coimbatore car cylinder explosion incident. The Coimbatore court has ordered to keep them in judicial custody till the 8th of next month.

As more shocking information is coming out in this incident, National Investigation Agency DIG Vandana and SP Sreejith are camping in Coimbatore. The officials, who left Chennai by air yesterday, reached Coimbatore last night. Subsequently, they are personally meeting the high officials of the police in Coimbatore and asking about the details of the case.

In this case, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin had announced that considering the nature of the Coimbatore car cylinder explosion accident case and the possibility of international connections in it, it would be recommended to transfer the case to the NIA. Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai welcomed this move and posted it on Twitter.

In it, “We welcome the decision of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stal to hand over the Coimbatore car cylinder blast accident investigation to the NIA. And the government should ensure that such incidents of terrorism do not happen again,” he tweeted.

He also said that the anti-national forces should be dealt with without any compromise and the recent lapses in the intelligence wing of the state police are causing a major setback to law and order in the state. Similarly, Annamalai requested that the state police department should be allowed to function independently without the coercion of local DMK officials, and also mentioned that when taking office as the chief minister, we would like to remind you that you will accept opinions and suggestions from all directions.
