Communist Party members laid flowers at the Lenin Mausoleum on Red Square in Moscow on the Day of the October Revolution. Flowers were also laid at the monument to Marshal Zhukov. According to a Kommersant correspondent, the event was attended by about 1.2 thousand people.

On November 7, Russia annually celebrates the Day of the October Revolution. On this day (October 25, old style) in 1917, an uprising took place in Petrograd, which ended with the proclamation of the power of the Soviets.
