The employees of the community library in Vaterstetten are finding donations of books in the media return cupboard more and more frequently. “That’s meant nicely, but we can hardly ever use the books for our modern inventory and for reasons of space,” says the library team. On the website www.buecherei-vaterstetten.de we have therefore compiled an overview of the various acceptance points where book donations are appreciated.
The library would be happy to receive bag donations. Since going to the library is sometimes spontaneous and the library bag was left at home, all customers are always welcome to take bags with them free of charge on site. “Our stock is slowly running out and that’s why we are happy about clean bag or bag donations”.
The library also points out that a lot has happened in its children’s book section: non-fiction books have been given new generic and sub-categories, there is more space for picture books and new generic terms such as “fairy tales & legends” and “diversity” have been included. The comics can now be found among the children’s books at the reading garden exit.
