The Compensar Family Compensation Fund announced its decision to request the voluntary liquidation of its Compensar EPS program before the National Health Superintendence.

After more than 30 years of dedication to serving the health of millions of Colombians through Compensar EPS, The entity made the determination due to the complex financial situation facing the health system in Colombia. This situation has significantly affected the viability and sustainability of the program, preventing it from guaranteeing service to its members under the conditions of quality and opportunity that have always characterized Compensar.

Compensar hopes that the request for withdrawal and voluntary liquidation of its EPS program will be accepted by the National Health Superintendency. However, it ensures that it will continue to serve its users in the best possible way until the last day they are under its responsibility, carrying out an orderly delivery of the population to the entity that the government designates.

“Compensar EPS will present in the coming days to the National Superintendency of Health, the respective schedule for reconciling accounts, being clear that to date the entity has peace and security of the pareto of its provision network until December 2022, for which the liquidation would almost entirely contemplate only the 2023 operation,” the statement said.

They added: “We are sure that Compensar has played its role as a Health Promotion Entity (EPS) fully, impeccably complying with the mandate conferred by law. and responding to the trust and affection of its members. for the benefit of the country.”
