Former AIADMK minister Rajendra Balaji has been charged with embezzling Rs 3 crore from a government job. Rajendra Balaji, who was the mastermind in the case, was detained in Karnataka. He was produced in court and lodged in Madurai Jail. Trichy was later jailed for administrative reasons.
