Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend various events in Chennai and Theppakkad in the Nilgiris district on April 8th and 9th respectively. This has resulted in an increase in police security in Chennai, with traffic diversions being implemented in various parts of the city. PM Modi will inaugurate the new terminal of Chennai Airport and flag off several train services, including the Vande Bharat Express. He will also participate in the 125th anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa at Vivekananda House on Marina Beach Road, Chennai. Later, he will participate in a public meeting and inaugurate various projects in Chennai before departing for Karnataka’s Mysuru airport in the evening. On April 9th, he will visit the Bandipur Tiger Sanctuary and Mudumalai Theppakadu Elephant Camp before departing for Mysore.

Hyderabad before Chennai

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chennai tomorrow (April 8), in Hyderabad around Rs. He is launching projects worth 11 thousand crores. He arrives in Chennai by air force flight from Begumpet airport at 1.35 pm.

New airport opening

The Prime Minister will arrive at Chennai Airport at 2.45 PM and inaugurate the new terminal of Chennai Airport. The event is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. After the inauguration ceremony, it is expected to depart from the airport by MI-17 helicopter at 3.25 pm and arrive at INS Adyar helipad, Chennai at 3.55 pm.

Inaugurate train services

Adyar will leave the INS site immediately by car and reach Central Railway Station around 4 pm. He will flag off several train services, including the Vande Bharat Express, in a ceremony held there from 4 pm to 4.20 pm.

Vivekananda House

Thereafter, he will leave Central Railway Station by car at 4.25 pm and visit Vivakananda’s residence on Marina Beach Road, Chennai at 4.30 pm. There he participates in the 125th anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

A ban on Marina

The 125th anniversary event of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was originally planned to be held at the Ramakrishna Mutt in Mylapore. Later, the event was shifted to Vivekananda’s residence near the marina, and now the police have banned access to the marina beach. Therefore, it has been informed that the public is not allowed to go to the Marina beach for the rest of the day.

General Assembly

The event will be held at Vivekananda House from 4.45 pm to 5.45 pm. After the ceremony, the Prime Minister arrives at the Adyar INS site by car. From there he will reach Chennai airport by helicopter again around 6.20 pm. Subsequently, he participates in a public meeting held at the cricket ground near Pallavaram, Chennai. The event starts at 6.30 pm and lasts till 7.30 pm. On this occasion, he laid the foundation stone for various projects and inaugurated various projects in Chennai.

Return to Mysore at night

Subsequently, he will depart from the event venue at 7.35 pm and reach Chennai airport at 7.40 pm. From there, he will reach Karnataka’s Mysuru airport by private air force aircraft at 8.40 pm.

Later, Apr. Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Bandipur Tiger Sanctuary at 7 am on Sunday 9th and take a vehicle ride into the forest. Following this, Prime Minister Modi will visit Mudumalai Theppakadu Elephant Camp at 9.35 am. Appearing in the Oscar-winning documentary “The Elephant Whisperers,” Raghu visits two elephants named Bommi. Bemman, who took care of the elephants Raghu and Bommi, is going to meet and honor the Belly couple.

He feeds the elephants

Then he gives certificates to the field directors who have worked well in the National Tiger Reserve. He also meets three senior elephants at Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. After that he visits the food provided to the elephants and feeds the two elephants.

Back to Mysore

Next T-23 meets three anti-poaching guards who are efficient in capturing the tiger. After completing these programs, Prime Minister Modi will come by road from Mudumalai Theppakkadu elephant camp to Masanagudi and from there he will go to Mysore by military helicopter.
