In this vein, Ms. Besa’abem Abanda noted that this new edition of the Congress will offer a valuable opportunity to promote pan-African exchanges, highlighting the driving role of the Kingdom in the development of the continent and its commitment to economic integration. regional.

“Morocco plays an essential role in strengthening South-South relations, by encouraging links between African countries and promoting the development of cultural and economic exchanges,” she noted.

For her part, the president of the Moroccan section of women of expertise, Mary-Rahma Homman, described this international congress led by African women as an exceptional project, the benefits of which are intended to last in the long term.

“In Morocco, women occupy leadership positions within large entities and organizations, implementing their expertise successfully,” she noted, highlighting the professional and human skills of women in carrying out projects. economic.

Ms. Homman also welcomed the choice of the city of Tangier to host this event, expressing her gratitude to the Moroccan authorities and institutions for their support.

For his part, the founding president of the Morocco Africa Organization (OMA), Najib Kettani, focused on the genesis of this pan-African congress, noting that this important event, which will be held in Tangier, is the gateway to Africa , will bring together a large number of African women, engaged in excellent work alongside men.

He also pointed out the weakness of intra-African trade compared to global trade, noting that the ZLECAF is a crucial opportunity to stimulate intra-African trade and increase the continent’s income.

Organized by the support structure “Women of Expertise of Africa”, in partnership with the OAM, the association “Al Rahma for development and solidarity” and the association “Rabia El Adaouia of social work and human development”, this event aims to serve as a dynamic platform for the exchange of knowledge, expertise, networking and promotion of female entrepreneurship.
