MP-MS (Mato Grosso do Sul State Public Ministry) recommended that the mayor of Corumbá, Ubiratan Canhete de Campos Filho (PSDB), known as Bira, annul the appointment of adviser César Rodrigues dos Santos Varanis since, according to with the prosecutor, Luciano Conte, the server is serving a restrictive sentence for a criminal conviction that took place in June 2022.

The prosecutor also asks that the House of Laws carry out a sweep to find out whether all the commissioners meet the criteria provided for by law and, if there is another illegal appointment, that it be annulled.
