Corruption case in PDVSA: A Venezuelan miss gets splashed

This Monday, the newly appointed National Anti-Corruption Police of Nicolás Maduro uncovered a new case of corruption in the state oil company, PDVSA, which continued with the arrest of two senior military officials, three judges, a mayor and a deputy.

Joselit Ramírez, Hugbel Roa, Antonio Pérez Suárez, José Agustín Ramos, Pedro Hernández, Cristóbal Cornielles and José Macsimino Márquez are some of the detainees, who are linked to a network that is diverting the sale of Venezuelan crude oil to their pockets.

According to reports, the disappearance of more than 3,000 million dollars from Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) funds was the trigger for this new Chavista purge; in which Tareck el Aissami and her closest circle have been spotted.

Unofficially, it was learned that Alejandro Arroyo, Luis Nahin, Alejandro Londoño, Rogers Ramírez Donante, Juan Alfonso López, Manuel Enrique Meneses, Rafael Guillermo Perdomo, Kristhonfer Barrios Vivas, Roger Perdomo Rodríguez and Bernardo Arosio are on the list of those wanted for corruption in pdvsa.

The latter has powerfully attracted attention. Bernardo Arosio is a businessman in the construction sector. He is the majority shareholder of the company that acquired Prodata Energy, a company favored by PDVSA to export Venezuelan gas to Colombia.

Together with his brother Tadeo, Bernardo Arosio Hobaica developed different real estate projects in Caracas and Los Roques such as inns, restaurants, luxury homes, hotels and buildings; published on the social networks of his company ATB Constructores.

In his personal accounts, Bernardo Arosio defines himself as a businessman who “lives and believes in Venezuela.” In addition, in his profile he says he is passionate about the family and, as an achievement, he has that he is the father of four children and the husband of Hannelly Quintero.
