My Bangladesh Party (AB Party) leaders said that five members of the same family were electrocuted yesterday in a house built under the main electricity line. A mother sold her baby in the market due to scarcity. Precious lives are lost every day due to mismanagement of roads. Killing of Bangladeshi citizens by firing at the border has become a routine matter. The country is moving towards an uncertain destination due to the irregularities and mismanagement of the unelected government.
They spoke at a rally organized at Vijay Ekatar Chattar, adjacent to AB Party’s central office in the capital’s Vijaynagar on Wednesday (March 27), on the 16th day of AB Party’s month-long Gana Iftar programme.
Convenor of Bhasani Anusari Parishad, brave freedom fighter Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu spoke as the chief guest at the Gani Iftar. Special guest was member secretary of Bhasani Anusari Parishad. Abu Yusuf Mohammad Salim, AB Party Member Secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju and other central leaders of AB Party. Among the other guests were the joint convener of Bhasani Anusari Parishad. Rafiqul Islam Bablu said that the Awami League government is coming to power again and again by deceiving the people. All the opposition parties, including the AB party, are conducting a one-phase movement to bring down this government. We thank you for not participating in this fraudulent election. We will strengthen this movement at the end of Ramadan, Inshallah. The country is drowning in the irregularities and corruption of this occupying government, which we cannot allow to continue.
Mojibur Rahman Manju said, those of you who are present in our Ganaiftar, whose economic condition is not good, they must understand, they must work hard to change their condition. Hands are not respectful to people.
He said, the people of the country are in dire straits. The economy has collapsed. We have taken the initiative to rebuild the country. Everyone should join here.
