Memoirs will have to wait
An album with brand new, self-written songs is currently not in sight. “I immediately went to songwriting camps in 2020, but then Corona came and I discarded the idea.” She has been putting off the concrete consideration of an autobiography for a few years now. Anastacia had said several times that she would like to show sides that are not known to the public. “Do you know anyone who didn’t publish a book during Corona? Well, everyone did it. I’ve been putting that off too,” she laughs, “I want to do it with someone I trust who really has the patience to look deeply into my life. But I’m in no rush,” she explains, who has already overcome breast cancer and serious heart problems, “I’m still alive and making music. There’s still enough time for the memoirs.”
