Covid, 2.6 million deaths worldwide: the data

There are over 119.5 million Covid infections in the world since the beginning of the pandemic, while the death toll today has risen to 2.6 million. This is what emerges from the data of Johns Hopkins University. The United States is the country that has recorded the highest number of cases so far with 29.4 million while the number of deaths exceeds 534,000. Brazil ranks second with 11.4 million cases and over 277,000 victims. In third place for number of cases India with 11.3 million infected (158.07 deaths), while in third place for number of victims is Mexico with over 194 thousand deaths. Italy is seventh in the world for the number of infected people (3,201,838), sixth for the number of deaths (101,881).
