There are 9,709 new Coronavirus infections in Italy today, Sunday 21 November 2021, according to Covid data and numbers – region by region – of the Civil Protection bulletin and the Ministry of Health. There are also another 46 deaths.
In the last 24 hours, 487,109 swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 2%. The number of hospitalized patients with symptoms rose to 4,345, 95 more since yesterday, and to 520 patients in intensive care with 35 admissions in one day. Since the beginning of the pandemic the deaths have been 133,177.
THE DATA OF THE REGIONS
LAZIO – There are 1,216 new infections from Coronavirus today Sunday 21 November 2021, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday the deaths have been 5. In the last 24 hours 13,984 molecular swabs and 27,182 antigenic swabs have been processed with a positive rate of 2.9%.
The hospitalized are 636, while the intensive care units are 83. Since yesterday there have been 549 recovered. There are 580 cases in Rome. Asl Roma 1: 203 new cases and 1 death in the last 24 hours. Asl Roma 2: 297 new cases and 2 deaths since yesterday. Asl Roma 3: there are 80 new cases. Asl Roma 4: there are 61 new cases. Asl Roma 5: 158 new cases and 1 death in the last 24 hours. Asl Roma 6: there are 125 new cases and 1 death since yesterday. In the provinces there are 292 new cases, of which 79 in the Asl of Frosinone, 121 in Latina, 32 in Rieti and 60 in Viterbo.
SARDINIA – There are 87 new coronavirus infections today 21 November 2021 in Sardinia, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. No deaths.
New cases of positivity based on 1540 people tested. A total of 8203 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic. There are 10 patients admitted to intensive care units (1 more than yesterday). There are 51 patients admitted to the medical area (1 more than yesterday). There are 2195 cases of home isolation (56 more than yesterday).
PIEDMONT – There are 445 coronavirus infections in Piedmont today, 21 November 2021, according to the covid numbers of the region’s bulletin. There are no deaths. According to the data, the new cases (of which 175 after antigenic tests) are equal to 1.1% of 38,890 swabs performed, of which 33,651 antigenic. Of the 445 new cases, 279 are asymptomatic (62.7%).
There are 27 hospitalized in intensive care (unchanged from yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 313 (+ 8 compared to yesterday). There are 7,280 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 9,394,803 (+ 38,890 compared to yesterday), of which 2,462,359 were negative.
No death of a positive person in the Covid-19 test was communicated by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region (please note that the cumulative updated data communicated daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently ascertained as Covid deaths). A total of 377,678 patients recovered (+ 238 compared to yesterday).
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – There are 642 new coronavirus infections today 21 November 2021 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to data and numbers from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are 4 other deaths. In detail, today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 591 new infections have been detected on 5,346 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 11.05%. There are also 13,399 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 51 cases (0.38%) were detected.
There are 4 deaths: a 92-year-old woman from Muggia who died in a retirement home; an 88-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman both from Trieste who died in hospital; a 74-year-old man from Pordenone who died in hospital. There are 26 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments are 215. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
APULIA – There are 118 new coronavirus infections today 21 November 2021 in Puglia, according to numbers and data from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. No deaths.
New positive cases were detected on 18,106 daily tests. There are 3,988 people currently positive in Puglia, 145 those hospitalized in a non-critical area, 16 in intensive care. Since the beginning of the emergency, 277,380 total cases have been recorded in the Region, 4,596,545 tests performed, 266,519 people healed and 6,873 deaths.
TUSCANY – There are 521 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, 21 November 2021, according to Covid numbers and data from the region’s bulletin. There are three other deaths. The new Covid cases (502 confirmed with molecular swab and 19 by rapid antigen test) are 0.2% more than the total of the previous day. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 281,860 (94.8% of total cases). Today 9,616 molecular swabs and 20,265 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 1.7% tested positive. On the other hand, 7,907 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 6.6% were positive.
The currently positive are 8,180 today, + 4.2% compared to yesterday. There are 292 hospitalized (5 fewer than yesterday), of which 39 are in intensive care (1 fewer). These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of 521 new positives today is approximately 40 years (28% are under 20, 20% between 20 and 39, 27% between 40 and 59, 22% between 60 and 79, 3% have 80 years or older).
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 998 new infections from Coronavirus today 21 November in Emilia Romagna, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 7 deaths have been recorded. In the last 24 hours, 14,836 molecular swabs and 11,515 rapid antigen tests were processed with a positive rate of 3.79%. The average age of new positives today is 40.7 years. 284 people have been healed since yesterday.
There are 52 patients admitted to intensive care, one more than yesterday, 522 those in the other Covid wards, 33 more since yesterday. 13,540 people in isolation.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 177 new cases and Rimini with 140: followed by Ravenna (123), Cesena (96), Ferrara (90), then Forlì (88), Modena (80), Reggio Emilia (78), the Imolese district (50), Piacenza (44) and finally Parma with 32 new cases. There have been 13,705 deaths in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.
CAMPANIA – There are 798 new infections from Coronavirus today Sunday 21 November in Campania, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 4 deaths have been recorded. In the last 24 hours, 27,521 tests were processed. The intensive care units employed are 26, while the hospitalizations are 294.
CALABRIA – There are 148 new Coronavirus infections today Sunday 21 November 2021, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 3 deaths since yesterday. 3,635 swabs were processed in the last 24 hours. 145 people have been healed since yesterday. Two more people in isolation, the number of hospitalized people dropped by two and, finally, the intensive care units employed remained stable at 11.
LOMBARDY – There are 1,431 new infections from Coronavirus today Sunday 21 November 2021, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday there have been 2 deaths in the Region. In the last 24 hours there have been 323 healed. The positives in Lombardy at the moment are 21,964. Among the provinces with the highest number of new cases Milan and hinterland at 529, Brescia at 181, Varese at 148, Monza and Brianza at 145 and Bergamo at 88.
