Shraddha (27) from Maharashtra has been working in the call center of a multilevel company in Mumbai. It was there that Aftab Amin met Poonawala. Both have been dating for three years after becoming friends. In this situation, last September, Shraddha’s friends had informed her parents that she had not been in contact with Shraddha for two and a half months.
They also got suspicious as there was no record in the intervening period when they checked Shraddha’s social media accounts and informed Shraddha’s father Vikas Walker at Mumbai’s Palkar police station that she was in Delhi with the girl’s cell phone number. Following this, Vikas, who rushed to Delhi, approached the Mehrauli police and the investigation began.
