Volleyball club “Levski Sofia” continues its mission for the development of the young stars of Bulgarian volleyball with the second edition of the tournament for talents up to 14 years old.

Having already turned the international tournament in the older age group into one of the most desired competitions for teams from the best volleyball nations in Europe, the “blue” club also organized the second edition for the younger volleyball players in Bulgaria – “A1 Stars of the future up to 14”. A tournament becoming the beginning of a dream for Bulgaria’s volleyball stars of tomorrow.

And the second edition will be more than intriguing. After the men’s teams of “Levski” and CSKA reached a dream final in the Bulgarian championship, there will be intriguing matches between “blue” and “red” at “A1 Stars of the Future under 14”.

The tournament in 2024 will be held from May 10 to 12 in the “Levski Sofia” sports hall. 6 boys and girls teams are participating. They play against each other to determine the champion.

The participants for the boys are Levski Sofia, CSKA, Slavia, Lyulin, Beroe (Stara Zagora) and Izgrev (Yablanitsa).

The participants for the girls are “Levski Sofia”, CSKA, CPVK, VASK, “Maritsa” (Plovdiv) and “Miner” (Pernik).

The tournament in the “Levski Sofia” hall will also be a general rehearsal for the confirmed teams before the start of the state championship tournaments for boys and girls born in and after 2011.

“In 2023, we also created the under-14 talent tournament to give volleyball dreamers from an early age more opportunities to play and grow together, in a competition organized at the highest standards and in the best conditions.

The mission of the volleyball club “Levski Sofia” is to work for the future of Bulgarian volleyball, we strive to create the best volleyball school in Europe.

Children are our top priority. Not only the trainers in our club. Bulgarian children are a common responsibility for all of us and we are very pleased to create new opportunities for all of them.

In the European countries with the traditionally strongest volleyball schools, they do not stop speaking well and sharing the positive emotions after the three editions of the international tournament in Sofia just before Christmas.

After Easter this year, we continue our other wonderful initiative – the Bulgarian tournament at the world level for younger volleyball players.

The tournament will be held with the support of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation.
